Neuro Transmissions

At Neuro Transmissions, we believe that science is for everyone – and we’re dedicated to helping you understand your brain! On our channel, Alie Astrocyte and Micah Psych explore neuroscience and psychology – everything from how a neuron sends a signal to the neuroscience of different neurological conditions to how psychologists treat patients in the clinic.

Everyone has a brain, but unless you’ve taken an AP Psychology course, not many people have the chance to learn about it in depth. The Neuro Transmissions team wants to help make the brain accessible to anyone. Since September of 2015, we’ve produced over 100 videos about the brain, and our work has been the recipient of a number of awards, including the 2016 Khan Academy Talent Search Grand Prize and first place in the 2017 BrainFacts.org Brain Awareness Video Contest.
